There are plenty of activities to occupy your visit if you are minded to tear yourself away from the comfort of the terrace, having taken in the beautiful views and watched the activities on the river. But if you feel like a day doing nothing then there is nothing to stop you sitting in the conservatory or out on the terrace reading books, sketching, admiring the view and then slipping a glass of something refreshing as the sun goes down.
The beautifully appointed Nonsuch House offers fabulous accommodation and fine dining. As winners of the AA Best Breakfast Award you can be assured of a wonderful breakfast each day of the week. Home made muesli, jams, bread and fruit compotes, together with our own smoked fish, are complimented by locally produced eggs, bacon, sausages, freshly squeezed juices, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms and if you want something different you need only ask. Dining is a gastronomic experience, using the freshest local produce, organic where possible, four nights a week – Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday. Dinner consists of 3 to 4 courses and guests are invited to suggest what they like to eat. A tasty packed lunch is avaliable upon request.
